Although I did ‘My Current Favourite Beauty Products‘ only a couple of weeks ago now (click the link to check it out), I still wanted to do some kind of favourites blog post. This favourites isn’t going to just going to be beauty based, however, but rather a mixture of a few things from music to skincare to makeup brushes. Either way I hope you enjoy, so let’s get on with the post.
To begin with, I thought I would start off with the songs that I’ve been loving this month.
• Strip That Down // Liam Payne – I love this song so much. It’s Liam’s debut single and I’m honestly obsessed with it, it’s simply great and I applaud Liam for it. If you haven’t listened to it then you should definitely give it a go.
• Crying In The Club // Camila Cabello – Another great song. I honestly have no words, I could listen to it over and over again.
• Stay // Alessia Cara – This is another great song that I’ve been loving towards the end of May.
I also have a spotify playlist that I update now and again if you want to see what I’m listening to.
My favourite Netflix series during May has to be Riverdale. I just loved it so much. This series has been mentioned in a few of my blog posts if you want to see me talk about it more into depth – My Top 3 Netflix Shows and Is Riverdale Worth The Hype? Check them out (shameless self promo!)
My favourite skincare products this month are from No7. I’m not very good with skincare in all honesty but I try and use night and day moisturisers, and that’s what I’ve been doing!
The first product I’ve been loving is the No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream. No7 skincare is slowly becoming my favourite, they really work well and I’d definitely recommend the Essential Moisture creams, especially for dry skin.
In conjunction with the previous product, I’ve been loving the No7 Essential Moisture Night Cream which I’ve already written a review on months ago (check it out here!) To this day I still love it and I’ve even repurchased it.
I’ve also been using the L’Oréal Micellar Water to remove my makeup whenever I wear it. Other times I’ve been using Superdrug Cleansing Facial Wipes for dry skin which I’ve liked as well! (Bonus: the wipes are cruelty free too!)
In all honesty my beauty favourites haven’t changed since I posted the ‘My Current Favourite Beauty Products’.
But what I have been loving is the Real Techniques Expert Face brush to apply my foundation rather than the Miracle Complexion sponge that I usually use. I bought the brush a while ago but I didn’t like it at first, but now I’m using it again I love it better than the sponge. I can really see the difference in how it applies my foundation.
Other than that, most of my beauty favourites have stayed the same.
