Just like in August I thought it would be a good idea to celebrate other people’s blog posts over the past month. You can check out last month’s blog favourites here if you’re interested in reading!
Since I didn’t post on blog on my usual schedule I thought it would be a good way to kick start blogtober, something which I’ve only just decided to try and take part in. I’ll admit that it will be a bit of a challenge with my job but I’m willing to give it my best shot.
Let’s get into the blog post!
First things first I enjoyed reading Charlotte’s blog post on her experience of buying a domain. This blog post will come in handy for those who are considering buying their own domain for the first time and want to know someone else’s first hand experience of it!
I also enjoyed Jennifer Grieve’s blog post How To Go Self Hosted – stress free may I add. This post is definitely one that I’m going to use in the future when I decide to go self hosted. Although I do have my own domain at the moment I’m on a WordPress Personal plan and so I’m currently not self hosted, but I’m hoping to go self hosted in the future!
Another post that I thought was worth sharing is an easy guide to SEO for bloggers by Hayley. This post is very informative but also easy to understand for those who want to learn more about SEO. It’s definitely helpful for those who want to improve how high their blog posts rank when people search for certain key terms. I definitely recommend giving it a read!
I have also enjoyed Annie’s blog post on her take on outlining and why she doesn’t like it. This post was an interesting read since everyone’s take on outlining (whether that be novels or possibly for blog posts) is different, some people love outlining even the smallest details, whilst others hate outlining altogether.
The last blog post I would like to share with you is Rhian’s post on why we could all do with a technology break. It can be so easy to get caught up with technology in the digital age that we forget to enjoy and experience the world around us without technology. It’s not the end of the world if you can’t access social media all the media all the time – there is a world out there that we should all be experiencing and taking advantage of once in a while.
