It’s crazy to think that as this post goes up I have been consistently (kind of) for a year now. Towards the beginning of my blog I found it difficult to be consistent for many reasons, but as the months have gone I’ve definitely improved on this. This first year of properly blogging has gone by so quickly it’s unbelievable. The more I blog and interact with the blogging community, the more I love blogging itself.
As every blogger knows, blogging on a consistent basis from once a week, every day, and everything in between, is difficult. Never mind being a student or having a full time job alongside our blogs. It’s not easy in the slightest. But, somehow I have manage to stick with it this time unlike my previous attempts to blog and I’m so glad. Starting up a blog is the best thing that I’ve done for myself by far.
As much as blogging is a challenge, I’ve loved blogging over the past year. Within the past year my blog has grown quite a bit compared to how I started off this time last year. Some of the posts that I had up when I first started blogging were awful and badly written, some of those are no longer up on my blog as I have deleted them. I’ve improved so much with my writing and my blog in general that I’m proud of.
The past year of blogging has brought me a great sense of achievement. Although I wrote a blog post not long ago questioning whether blog stats matter or not (you can take a look at that blog post here), but I’ve come a long with my blog. I’ve reached over 3,000 followers on Twitter, I’ve surpasses 5,000 blog views, and I’ve almost reached 500 followers on my blog. To others, it might not seem like much to have achieved within a year of blogging, but I’m proud and that’s all that matters.
Blogging has brought me so much you as a hobby and I genuinely don’t know where I would be without it. It’s been a lovely escape for the times where I have felt down and a source of enjoyment.
Before I end this post, I’d like to thank everyone that’s taken their time to read my posts. Here’s to another many years of me blogging.
