I recently got this idea from Hello Bexa (check out her post here) and I thought that this would be such a great idea for a blog post. Not only is it a great idea for a blog post, but a great way to get to know me a bit better. It’s a bit of different post for my blog (and a long one at that) but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless, so let’s begin!
A is for Ashleigh Writes
What better way to start of this blog post than mentioning my blog! Blogging is something that I’ve been doing on and off for a good couple of years now, that was up until 2016 when I began to take it more seriously and uploading regular content. Not long after consistently blogging, I changed my blogging name to Ashleigh Writes and here we are today!
B is for Blogging
Blogging has now become one of my favourite hobbies. I love being able to share posts with others and interacting with other bloggers!
C is for Cheryl
If you didn’t know already, Cheryl is someone who I adore and I have done for several years now. I’ve also written an appreciation post for Cheryl a while ago now. I couldn’t go an about me post without mentioning my love for Cheryl.
D is for Driving
This year is the year that I hope to be able to drive independently. Fingers crossed. Honestly I’m becoming tired of relying on public transport to get me to work!
E is for English Literature
I mean, how else was I going to mention books in here? I love reading books and it’s something that I definitely need to find time to do more often. It’s a goal of mine of for 2018.
F is for Friendly
I like to think that I’m a friendly person at least.
G is for Girls Aloud
The best girl band of all time, am I right or am I right?
H is for Heights
I absolutely hate heights. There’s really nothing more for me to say about that.
I is for Introvert
Over the years I’ve learnt to accept the fact that I’m an introvert and that’s just who I am. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert!
J is for Job
This is the only thing that I could think of for this letter, I was really struggling with it! But I love my job and I enjoy working. Earning your own money as well is the best thing at a young age. I wouldn’t change my job for the world at the moment.
K is for Krispy Kreme
The first time that I tried Krispy Kreme doughnut was just over a week ago now with my friends. Now I can never go back and they have become new favourites of mine.
L is for Left Handed
Being left handed really does suck sometimes, especially in a world where 90% of everything is made for right handers! I have a blog post on left handedness for anyone that wants to give it a read.
M is for Music
I don’t think I could ever live without listening to music. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t listen to music – it’s the easiest way to uplift my mood.
N is for Netflix
My guilty pleasure. Is there anything more I need to say here? I love a good series on Netflix – my favourites are Stranger Things, American Horror Story and Riverdale (kind of).
O is for Organisation
Organisation is something that I like to try and keep on top of in my life. It helps me to think that I have my life together, even at times when it doesn’t feel like I have my life together. Illusion at it’s finest!
P is for Potterhead
I LOVE Harry Potter, they’re my go to films for whenever I’m feeling down for sure. I could honestly watch them over and over again and never get bored of them, who knows how many times I’ve watched them all already in my lifetime!
Q is for Quotes
I’m a big lover of quotes. Alongside music, uplifting, positive and motivational quotes are one of those things that help me to push through the dark days.
R is for RSPCA
This is where we got our cat from when she was 18 months old. When I buy my own cat in the future, this is one of the places I’ll most likely get a cat from to give it a lovely home!
S is for Soap and Glory
Soap and Glory is slowly becoming one of my favourite brands. I just love a lot of their products – especially after receiving the Spa of Wonder gift set at Christmas! I’ll hopefully have a blog post on the Spa of Wonder gift set coming onto my blog sometime soon, I’ve meaning to write it for a while now.
T is for (Psychological) Thrillers
Psychological thrillers are my favourite types of books to read, I can’t get enough of them. I wrote a post a while ago about what I look for in psychological thrillers here if you want to check it out!
U is for Uncertainty
I hate uncertainty and not knowing what’s going to happy in the future, whether that’s long term or short term. This is something that I am trying to get past though since life is full of uncertainty – nothing in life is certain.
V is for Visiting New Places
I’m hoping that, whilst I’m still young, I have the chance to travel and visit new places, whether that’s abroad or discovering lovely places in the UK.
W is for Writing
Coinciding with my love for reading, I enjoy writing also. Whether that’s writing for my blog or writing fiction, I love it. Writing fiction gives me a way to pour out my feelings but into a fictional world. Writing both for my blog and fiction gives me a way to express myself in written form since that is the best way that I’m able to express myself.
X is for X Factor
This is the only thing that I could honestly think of for this letter. X Factor’s okay I guess.
Y is for Youtube
If I’m not writing a blog post or listening to music then it’s most likely that I’m sat watching YouTube. I have a blog post listing some of favourite youtubers which you can check out here!
Z is for Zzz
Sleep is very important to me, I love my sleep time!
This post was longer than I expected it to be but I enjoyed it nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better!

What a fab idea, love your version of this! I feel if I was to do one of these, I wouldn’t be able to fill in half the letters haha! x
