I’ve been wanting to write this blog post for over a month now since I’ve gathered a fair few new favourites, but in all honesty, I just haven’t had the energy or motivation to do so. Now that I’ve forced myself to sit down and write this blog post (it’s definitely long overdue in my mind) I’ve decided to combine my January and February favourite together as that seems like the best idea for this post! Like I said previously, I seem to have gathered a fair few new favourites over the past couple of months which I’m excited to (finally!) share with you!
The Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash
I received this in the Soap and Glory ‘Spa of Wonder’ Christmas gift set which I’ve written a review on not too long ago. It’s become one of my new favourites and it works wonders for my skin, even though I’m not the greatest when it comes to skincare. After using this it makes applying my moisturiser so much smoother which I like about it too!
The Soap and Glory Righteous Butter Body Butter
I’m not great at remembering to apply this after having a shower, but this has definitely been a favourite of mine since I first used it towards the end of December. It’s very moisturising and it smells absolutely amazing, basically everything that I would want in a body butter. I can’t even describe in words how amazing it smells, but I would happily smell like this all day every day!
Vitamin E SPF 15 Moisturising Cream
I’ve had this moisturiser for more than a couple of months now, and I must admit that I didn’t love it when I first began to use it underneath my foundation. The more that I’ve used it in the past couple of months, the more that I’ve grown to love it. The fact that this moisturiser is inexpensive, cruelty free and contains SPF are all bonuses. I would definitely recommend this for people with normal/dry skin. I have a whole post reviewing the Vitamin E Range if you want to check that out.
Simple Kind to Skin Exfoliating Facial Wipes
These have become my absolute favourite facial wipes for removing my makeup, so much so that I was sad when I ran out of these and had to revert to the Simple’s Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes as I didn’t like them as much. I need to repurchase these whenever I get the chance to because I miss using them!
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette
This is the first time that I’ve bought a product from Urban Decay as well as the first high end eyeshadow, and it’s safe to say that I’m pretty impressed with this palette after using it for just over three months now. For somebody that isn’t great at eyeshadow to begin with, the colours in this palette are so easy wear on a day to day basis at work (when I have time in the morning) and they’re so easy to blend too which is great for a beginner like me. I also love the giant mirror too which is a bonus! If you’re a newbie to eyeshadow then I would definitely recommend this palette.
This is an Australian TV show that’s on Netflix which I happened to stumble upon just over a month ago and I love it. Since finishing Stranger Things 2 back in October last year, I’ve been looking for another good series to keep me going and this is the one, although I’ve almost finished this one too. It’s basically where six recently deceased residents return from the dead in perfect health which a police officer investigates. One of them happens to be the police officer’s previous wife.
In terms of music, I’ve really been loving Dua Lipa’s music. I’m obsessed with her songs at the minute and I don’t think that I could ever get bored of them. Can we also mention here how amazing she looked at the Brit Awards this year?
That’s all for this post, I hope you enjoyed it!
