For today’s post I decided that I would show you through my bullet journal set up for the month of August. I don’t like doing this kinds of posts too often because I feel like they can get a bit repetitive – each month I don’t tend to change my monthly set up too much. I’m not very good at drawing or designing, in fact I would go as far as to say that I’m awful at it, which is why I try to keep my page designs simple. This month I decided to be a little bit more adventurous with some of the page designs as you will see in the photos. Before I begin to ramble, let’s get into the blog post!
As you can see from the photo above, like usual I have a double spread for the month of August. Each month I tend to design my pages with a different theme colour from the previous bullet journal set up which I’m quite liking. Last month was green, this month is blue! On the bottom left hand side of the double spread I’ve written myself some little blogging goals like I do each month. On the right hand side of the page I have also kept my list of blog comment threads that take place through the week which I find to be a very handy reminder! I’m currently very happy with this set up.
As usual I have added a single page for the gratitude log. Although I do miss logging my gratitude on some days because life can be hectic, I love having this page in my bullet journal. For this log I definitely prefer having a single page rather than a double spread. I may add some more doodles to this too to make it look prettier!
Blog Content Ideas
I like to keep a record of any potential blog post ideas or series that I want to work on for my blog, so for I added this blog content ideas page for this month to record just that. For the page I took to Pinterest to look for some lightbulb doodles which I added to the bottom with a touch of colour which I really like!

If you’ve read my previous bullet journal set ups then you’ll know that I don’t normally incorporate weekly spreads into my bullet journal, but this month I wanted to give it a go. I’m hoping that it will motivate me to use my bullet journal more and organise myself better. I’ve designed each week over a double spread and I’m using a basic design/layout that I found on Pinterest. I really love Pinterest for finding inspiration for my bullet journal!
