Whether you’re blogging full time or alongside studying and/or working, as a blogger I feel like it’s important to have apps to make life as a blogger that little bit easier. I’ve been blogging for the past two years now so I thought that it would be time to share with some of the apps that help me out! As you may know, I currently work full time whilst maintaining my blog, so I’ve compiled a list of my favourite blogging related apps that you need to make blogging easier!
WordPress
If you use WordPress for your blog, then I highly recommend downloading the WordPress app to go along with this. It may sound like an obvious one, but it’s very useful for drafting blog posts on the go, editing your posts on the go as well as checking other bloggers posts on the go!
Twitter is my absolute favourite social media for blogging and it’s another app that I highly recommend having as a blogger. Not only is Twitter a great way to promote your content and engage with other people’s content, but the blogging community on there is so supportive. I don’t know what I would do without Twitter as a blogger!
Bloglovin’
Another great way to keep up with your favourite bloggers is by following people on bloglovin’. Bloglovin’ is great for keeping up with bloggers who may not use WordPress and therefore won’t be in your WordPress reader. Bloglovin’ is an easy app to use and keep updated with other bloggers content on the go!
Crowdfire
Before Crowdfire, I used to use Buffer to schedule my tweets but I found it too limiting. I switched to Crowdfire and I highly recommend it over Buffer. Not only can you schedule tweets with Crowdfire but you can manage your followers and unfollowers if that’s something that interests you.
Pinterest is a must for a blogger and I highly recommend this. Even if you don’t promote your content on Pinterest, it’s a great place to find inspiration and it’s one of my favourite places to find inspiration, whether that be for blogging or for anything else! If you want other ways to find inspiration as a blogger then check out my blog post out here.
Lightroom CC / Canva
Lightroom CC is great for editing blog photos on your phone and it’s probably the best photo editing app that I’ve used, so I definitely recommend this. Canva is also great (web or app) for creating blog headers or social media posts! Both of these are easy enough to use in my opinion, so definitely give them a go!

Donโt forget to follow me on my other social media below;
twitter / instagram / pinterest / facebook / bloglovin
I love the Hootsuite app for scheduling my social media and it’s really easy to use and means you don’t have to be online all of the time! Canva is brilliant I use it for all my blog title and pin images. I’d be lost without the WordPress app definitely. Lightroom I’ve been using only for a month or so but with the Autumn approaching and less natural light I’m sure I will be using it a lot!

I used to use buffer too, and also found it limiting, so now I’m using hootsuite, but I think I’m going to check out crowdfire! The rest of these are already apps on my phone ๐ Great post Ashleigh xx

Hello Ashleigh,
Its a shame my platform doesn’t have a proper app (Blogger) and I have to log in online to check a simple thing like Comments. Twitter is a really great app too and my favourite again, but there is also Facebook Pages Manager if you have a page for your blog.

I was trying to use canva to create headers and I didn’t know what I was doing. I felt like they never looked cool enough and so many of the backgrounds I wanted I had to pay for.

Nice one…
There are many ways to create a website but however with certain restrictions. Best way I would like to suggest is to know the basics of web designing with html and css and then start creating the website of you choice. #www.bynd.co.in
