Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a big lover of books, although I wish I had more time to actually read the books that are piling up on my bookshelf! With being a book lover, I have my favourite authors. As you may know, I’m a big fan of thriller books at the moment but I am trying not to restrict myself to this genre. In this blog post is a variety of different authors who write different genres that I have enjoyed reading, so here are the five authors that you should check out if you haven’t already.
It’s no secret that I love the thriller genre and I absolutely love Paula Hawkins. Her style of writing thriller books is great and I love how she uses multiple characters in her stories. If you haven’t checked any of her books out, especially The Girl On The Train, then I would highly recommend you do! I’m sure that it was The Girl On The Train that got me hooked onto thriller books.
S K Tremayne
This is another thriller author that I would highly recommend to other people! The way in which they tell the stories is great. I especially loved the Ice Twins! Once you start reading their books, you’ll definitely be hooked! From writing this, I’ve also noticed a new book that’s been written by this author that I hadn’t even realised up until now. That’s another book added to my neverending TBR list!
Alyssa Sheinmel is a YA author. The first book that I read by her was Faceless (I still have a review of the book on my blog here) and I loved it. I really enjoy the way that she writes and tells the story! If you haven’t already, then I would definitely recommend checking her out.
J K Rowling
It wouldn’t be a book related book without relating it back to Harry Potter in some way, shape or form. I’m slightly obsessed with Harry Potter and I’ve recently bought the full book collection from Amazon, you may have seen it on my Instagram stories a couple of weeks ago if you follow me over there. Anyway, I love the way the J K Rowling brings you into the world of Harry Potter, her writing is incredible! You may have watched the films, but if you haven’t read the books then what are you waiting for?
