If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, then you’ll know about my bullet journal. I absolutely love designing and creating my bullet journal spreads on a monthly basis, even if I’m not the most creative person. There are many reasons why you should start a bullet journal, but before we get into that let me explain what a bullet journal is.
A bullet journal is essentially a personal planner that you can customise in order to fit your own needs. You can make your bullet journal as creative or as simple as you like, depending on how creative you want to be with designing your spreads. A bullet journal is a productive tool in order to keep your life organised, whether that be any thoughts or ideas you have, events, or keeping your blog organised like I use it for!
Now, let’s get into the many reasons why you should start a bullet journal.
Be more productive
Having a bullet journal is a great way to keep yourself organised and be productive. It’s a great to see goals, events, deadlines, tasks etc written down.
Keep it simple, or be creative!
You can keep your bullet journal pages as simple or as creative as you want them to be. You don’t have to go all out there with designing your pages if you don’t want to, at the same time don’t be afraid to unleash your creativity! You can take a look at my previous bullet journal set up’s for some inspiration, here‘s my latest one.
You can personalise your bullet journal
As bullet journals are personal to each person, no bullet journal is the same. You can create you
Your bullet journal is more than just a planner
Following on from the previous point, as you can personalise your bullet journal, it can be so much more than a planner. You can utilise your journal however you want to, whether that be for tracking goals, blogging, habit tracking and so on. The pages that you add to your bullet journal are completely up to you. I have a post specifically on bullet journal page ideas to help you out with inspiration!
Keeping everything organised in a single journal
I’m the type of person who would normally have several notebooks for different purposes, but having a bullet journal is great for keeping everything organised into one place with an index at the front of your journal. This makes everything so much easier to keep everything organised and find things easier!
If you’re planning on starting your own bullet journal, I also have a blog post on bullet journal supplies to get you started!

I really need to start bulletproof journalling in the new year. Do you have any advice on how to start one? If you have time, would you be able to do a “bullet journal starter pack” type post? It would be super helpful, I’ve never seen a post where someone is telling you what you need/how to go about getting started

I’d really love to make my own bullet journal but I’m not creative at all so I think I’d really struggle designing each page and I’d always forget to fill it in! Great post though lovely!

I have never tried a bullet journal, I just feel like I would start off great and then would just completely fall off the bandwagon! Also on a completely different note, I’m also from Lancashire!

I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs as well as related info ended
up being truly easy to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you
know it in the least. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who
add forums or something, web site theme . a tones way for your client to communicate.
