I’m not going to lie, February wasn’t the best month for me in terms of blogging. I didn’t manage to blog as much as I had wanted to and in all honesty, my motivation to write was at an all-time low. I know that I haven’t been as active as I have wanted to be, both on my blog and on social media in general because of my lack of motivation. Despite the fact that I still don’t feel particularly motivated to write, this month I’m determined to push through that and continuing to write and brainstorm blog posts anyway!
Without further ado, let’s get into my blogging goals for this month.
1. Reach 1,500 WordPress followers
Last month I set a goal lower than this and although I didn’t achieve, I wasn’t that far off my goal! This goal might be slightly high, but it’s better to aim high, right? At the moment, as I write this post, I’m currently at 1,395 blog followers. I’m hoping that I can get somewhat close to this goal!
2. Consistently write blog posts
As I mentioned earlier in this blog post, I wasn’t great with posting blog posts last month as I simply lacked the motivation to do so. This month I want to consistently write blog posts, and I’m aiming to post at least two blog posts a week (Monday’s and Friday’s). I may post an extra blog post on Wednesday if I’m feeling motivated to do so, but I’m not going to pressure myself. I have a couple of blog posts planned out, so I’m hoping that I can stick to this one.
3. Reach 1,000 Instagram followers
This was also one of my goals for last month, but sadly I didn’t achieve it. I want to post on Instagram on a regular basis and I really need to up my game on there. At the moment I’m currently at 907 followers, which is an improvement since last month I’m hoping that I can continue to improve on that!
4. Reach 2k+ monthly views on my blog
I want to continuously improve my blog and it’s content and with that, I also want to improve my stats. February wasn’t the best month for me in terms of stats, but I’m hoping to improve on this!
5. Reach 30 followers/likes on my Facebook page
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been trying to use my Facebook page more by scheduling posts over there to keep it updated. I’m not entirely sure how useful having a Facebook page is for my blog, but I want to put a little bit more effort into it and grow it.
