I’ve been wanting to start a series like this for a while whereby I write a blog post on a regular basis relating to motivation, but it just hasn’t materialised on my blog. Instead of waiting around thinking about it, I decided to jump straight into it and start my Monday Motivation series.
There’s no better time to start this series than now as we’re in a new month and it’s a new week, so let’s get into the blog post.
“Every day is a new beginning. Smile. Breathe. And start again.”
Now, although it feels great to start afresh when it’s a new year or a new month, you don’t have to wait for the new year or the new month to roll around for a fresh start on your goals. There’s no better time to start on your goals the next day or at least consider the next day as a new beginning and brushing off anything negative that happened prior to this.
It’s so easy to get caught up in things and dwell on situations that you might not even have any control over. But every day is a new beginning where you can have a fresh and positive perspective on things. Your mindset is so important in a lot of things in life, whether you’re going into an exam, an interview, a new job, or whatever the situation might be. Having a positive mindset going into something really does have an impact, and the same goes with going into something with a negative mindset. I’ve experienced both, although I know how difficult it can be to be positive at the same time. The reality is that no one can be positive every second of every day.
I think that it’s important to remember that it’s okay to have bad days because you wouldn’t have the good days without the bad days. Just know that every day is a new beginning and a fresh start.
I’m not sure how long I’m going to make these blog posts or how often I’m going to post them. It could be weekly or bi-weekly, but I’m just going to test the waters and see how it goes.
