For today’s blog post I wanted to write about my July Favourites. I don’t think I’ve written one of these types of posts in a while (and they’re quite fun to write may I add) and I seem to have gathered a fair few favourites along the way, all of which I would love to share with you!Face Masks
This past couple of weeks I’ve really been enjoying using face masks. I’ve been trying to use them on a more regular basis (weekly) if I remember to, and I’ve really grown to love them. Some of the face masks that I’ve tried out include the Garnier Moisture Bomb mask, Simple Kind to Skin Rich Moisture sheet, Simple Water Boost Hydrating sheet alongside a couple of others.
As messy as face masks can be to unfold without ripping, I absolutely love how they make my skin feel. My skin always feels great after I use a mask and I wish I had started using them sooner!
Soap and Glory Melty Talented Wonderbalm
I bought this from Boots a couple of weeks ago after hearing good things about it, and I couldn’t resist not picking it up whilst it was reduced! I love how this balm is multi-purpose for dry skin; I love how smooth it is and easy to apply! If you’re looking for something to combat dry skin then I would highly recommend this!
The Body Shop Multi-Protection Essence SPF 50
I bought this a couple of months ago now because I’ve been looking for a good facial SPF for a while and I love how high the SPF is in this product as I can burn so easily. You really don’t need to apply much of this as a little really does go far. I would also be careful when you’re getting the product out of the tube as it can be easy to make a mess if you’re not careful!
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream
I’ve been wanting to try out this for a while now, and I thought that now was the perfect time to do so. I bought this a couple of weeks ago alongside the foundation which I’ve mentioned below, and so far I’m loving it! I currently use it under my foundation and it seems to be working well so far, given the amount of time that I have my makeup on during the days! The only thing that I would say that I’m not keen on is the smell of the cream which is a shame.
The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation
I wanted to pick up a new foundation for the summer months and I decided to pick up an old favourite of mine a couple of weeks ago. I forgot how much I loved this foundation until I repurchased it! I got the foundation in the shade Chelsea Porcelain and it’s a great shade match for starters, which is one of the things that I love about it. I also love how natural looking it is on the skin. It’s definitely up there as one of my favourite foundations!
Maui Moisture Revive & Hydrate Shea Butter Conditioner
I’ve been absolutely loving this conditioner as an addition to my haircare this past month or so and it’s definitely improved the condition of my hair. I absolutely love the smell of this conditioner too which is a bonus!
I did have a full hair care routine up on my blog but somehow it ended up getting deleted and I have no way to recover it which is a shame really.
L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths Long Hair Mask
Like I mentioned with the conditioner, this is also a product that I only picked up over the past month or so and I love it. Again, I also feel as though this product has helped to improve the condition of my hair! I’m honestly loving the dream lengths range that L’Oreal has out at the moment and I’d love to try out some more products from the range at some point.
I’ve had these highlighters for a couple of months now and if you know me I’m a sucker for stationery! If I remember right, I got these highlighters in an offer at WHSmith where if you bought the highlighters and anything else in the shop, the highlighters came at a discounted price which was enough to draw me in. I love these highlighters because they don’t just have the original shades, they also have pastel shades too. I mean, what’s not to love!
Stranger Things: Season Three
For those of you who may not be aware, season three of Stranger Things came out on 4th July. I can tell you now that I binged watched the whole season within the space of a couple of days. I honestly didn’t want the season to end and when it did end, it made me want to cry! Season three was absolutely fab and I would recommend watching Stranger Things to anybody!
I have a couple of new skincare favourites too, however, I want to make a completely separate blog post on this which will probably go up after this one. Keep your eyes out for it!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
