December Favourites

I’ve collected quite a few favourites over the month of December. Some are new things that I’ve bought and others are things that I’ve rediscovered. There’s quite a variety of things on this list, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

I bought this palette from Boots on Black Friday when they had a decent deal on it! I’ve wanted this palette for a while and when I saw the price, I couldn’t resist it! It’s definitely been a favourite of mine since I started using it and I absolutely love it. I love the range of colours in the palette including the shimmers. It’s such a beautiful palette and I love the packaging too!

Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara

I’ve had the miniature version of this mascara for a while now and I haven’t used it all that much, that was until this past month. I started using it more in December after forgetting about it and I actually quite like it. I’m not the type of person to wear mascara all the time, but this is definitely my go-to at the moment. It’s a great mascara for making my eyelashes look better, that’s for sure.

Real Techniques Prep and Prime Set

I saw this set on Boots in December and I’m pretty sure they were in the sale. When I saw this set I just knew I had to buy them. My favourite is probably the prep brush which I’m currently using to help apply face masks which is a huge help. I also love using the dry facial brush to prep my face before makeup. It’s a great brush set overall and I love it.

You – Season Two

The second season of You came out on Netflix on Boxing Day and I just had to put it in my favourites, I promise I’ll make this section spoiler-free for those who might not have watched it yet! I don’t know quite what I was expecting from this season, I hadn’t read up on it beforehand, but I thought it was quite an interesting take. As I’m currently writing this blog post, I haven’t finished the season yet but I’m intrigued to see how it ends.

Logitech K380 Keyboard

I bought this Bluetooth keyboard on Amazon for my iPad Air which I treated myself to back in October. I wasn’t sure if I would like this at first, but I knew that I needed to invest in a half decent keyboard and I’m glad I did. I’m actually doing all of my blogging on my iPad at the moment whilst using this keyboard and honestly I love it. I find it really easy to use and type with which is exactly what I need. I would definitely recommend it if anybody is looking into getting a Bluetooth keyboard of some kind.

There’s quite a few songs that I’ve been loving over the month of December. The first of these being Lewis Capaldi’s album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent. A couple of favourites of mine from the album include: Before You Go, Bruises, Maybe and Hollywood. If you haven’t checked out his album then I would highly recommend doing so!

Some other songs that I’ve been enjoying through December include:

  • Harleys in Hawaii, Katy Perry
  • Watermelon Sugar, Harry Styles
  • Lose Control, MEDUZA, Becky Hill, Goodboys
  • Don’t Start Now, Dua Lipa
  • Lose You To Love Me, Selena Gomez
  • Nice To Meet Ya, Niall Horan
  • Liar, Camila Cabello

There’s my December favourites for the month and I hope you enjoyed the blog post.

  1. I need to check out more of Lewis Capaldi’s music; the only songs of his that I have heard are ‘Someone You Loved’ and ‘Before You Go’, and I loved both of them! Also, that Naked Urban Decay palette looks so pretty! 😍
